Implementation of projects - methodology
We carry out projects to implement the Odoo system in an industrial organization, retail chain, service company, start-up/high-tech, including dedicated developments and building interfaces according to customer requirements.
We carry out the projects according to Odoo's proven Best Practice methodology with 95% success worldwide, and we adapted it to the variety of customers and our accumulated experience in the Israeli market.
At the beginning of the project - we perform a preliminary stage of analyzing the gaps between the Odoo modules and the specific requirements of the organization in order to formulate a plan for the project stages, gaps that require finding an adequate solution or development before or after the launch and formulating a budget as accurate as possible for the project.
At each stage of the project, with the aim of going live with defined Odoo applications (such as: CRM and sales), we perform system tuning, customization, feasibility study for key or pilot processes if necessary, required developments and integrations, assistance in loading data, trainings, readiness tests and phase accompaniment taking off.

Implementation and development on demand, support and maintenance
An advanced consulting, service and support center for Leyline Tech customers (SLA agreement) by a team of functional and technical experts, who provide a digital response (using the Odoo Help Desk system) and telephone if necessary during working hours (9:00 - 17:00).

Version upgrade
The Odoo company releases new versions (major release) once a year, in order to enjoy the new applications and improvements in the new version, we perform an upgrade process from the existing client version to the new version. The upgrade process includes the following steps:
- Upgrade of the client's dedicated developments to the new version
- Upgrading the database (the data) to the data structure of the new version - with the help of the Odoo upgrade script with the addition of a dedicated script built for the client and suitable for the dedicated developments carried out for him.
- Perform normality tests of the upgraded system by the Layline team.
- Validity tests by the client - comprehensive testing of all processes with key users in the organization.
- Carrying out an upgrade of the operational system after confirmation that the processes are working properly and with advance coordination of the appropriate date for the conversion.
As part of the upgrade process, we examine the dedicated developments against the new features and examine whether there is still a need for the dedicated development carried out.
In any case, the recommendation is to upgrade every second version at least (that is, not stay more than 2 versions behind)
Technical support and maintenance
In situations where the intervention of a development person is necessary, the support team performs a professional analysis of the problem (testing the code, the server, logs and the database) and acts accordingly:
- Technical actions to solve a standard problem or operational error of the client (such as: server operation)
- Dealing with integration failures with external systems
- Fixing a fault or bug in dedicated development carried out for the customer
Implementation and development on demand
As the organization progresses and the system also enables the implementation of additional applications, we provide implementation and training services at the customer's request, such as:
- Carrying out training for a new employee or training on a process that has not been used before
